Enjoy fine dining, a wonderful wine list, and sinful dessert menu at The Mint, 219 Fayetteville Street.  Chris Hylton, the Culinary Director of The Mint Restaurant, started his culinary career in Los Angeles, CA and most recently came to Raleigh from Washington, DC.

The atmosphere is unique with authentic vault doors and other bank-related memorabilia reminiscent of the building’s former occupants, but with a pleasant comfort.  If you prefer al fresco dining, the outdoor patio is lovely and feels like a New York café.

If you’re attending one of the many wonderful events at Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, such as Jersey Boys, take the short walk to The Mint before or after the show.    You can leave your car parked where it is and stroll just four short blocks down Fayetteville Street directly from Progress Energy Center to The Mint.  You will leave “feeling like a million!”  www.themintrestaurant.com
