Featuring cuisines from around the world, you can sample Lebanese, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, and American dishes, just to name a few.  Whatever your preference, the Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week is sure to deliver multi-course meals that satisfy your cravings.  Cara Zalcberg, Managing Partner of The Mint and Restaurant Week participant, describes their cuisine as “contemporary southern with an international flair.”   Zalcberg says, “Restaurant Week is a fantastic way for us to share our new concept of affordable fine dining with local Raleigh residents.  We are able to showcase our incredible value to those that have never experienced our exceptional service and quality.”

Savory and sweet, the three-course dinners offer patrons the chance to indulge in an exceptionally fulfilling dining experience. President and CEO of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, David Diaz, says, “We’re excited to bring the Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week to residents, patrons, and visitors alike.  This promotion extends diners a unique opportunity to eat at some of downtown’s most reputable restaurants at very affordable prices.”

Restaurants will offer prix fixe specials the week of Monday, August 24-Sunday, August 30 during their normal dinner hours.  Although no tickets are required, reservations are strongly recommended (when applicable).  For your convenience, online reservations can be made at almost half of the venues through OpenTable. These reservation links are available on the Restaurant Week website, www.DineDowntownRaleigh.com. Menus will also be posted as they are submitted by participating venues.  It is important to note that menus are subject to change upon product availability.  Starting Monday, August 24, look for Restaurant Week flags at participating venues.  To access more information from your mobile device, visit www.YouRHere.com/mobile.

Due to the mass appeal, restaurant weeks have become a growing trend nationwide.  “Cities across the country have successfully launched similar promotions and we look forward to that same success,” says Diaz.  “This is an event where everyone wins, because restaurants see new business and consumers benefit from great deals.  Whether you’re visiting an old favorite or trying some place new—restaurant week is a time to celebrate the downtown Raleigh dining scene.”
