Theatre In The Park is proud to announce an exciting raffle as a fundraiser for the theatre’s Annual Fund for Community Arts and Education.

Ray Whitney, Alternate Captain of the Carolina Hurricanes, will be the guest host of a dinner on Tuesday, September 8th at Coquette Brasserie at North Hills, the newest restaurant to be opened by Urban Food Group. Five Grand Prize Winners will win a dinner for two with Ray Whitney and Ira David Wood III, Executive and Artistic Director of Theatre In The Park.

“I’m proud to be supporting Theatre In The Park, it’s an organization that brings joy to many people in Raleigh, including my family and me,” states Ray Whitney.

Raffle tickets are available for $50 and can be purchased online at ETIX ticketing or at the theatre’s box office at 107 Pullen Road, Raleigh, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Additional prizes include the following:

First Prize Winner receives an official autographed Ray Whitney Jersey and NHL Carolina Hurricanes Hockey Stick

Second Prize Winner receives Four Premium Tickets to Ira David Wood III’s A Christmas Carol, to be performed at Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Memorial Auditorium, December 2009.

With only 350 tickets to be sold, each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning. Tickets are on sale through September 4th, with the winners being drawn on Saturday, September 5th. Winners will be contacted by phone or email.
