Company sponsors 2010 seasons for North Carolina Theatre and North Carolina Symphony.
Cary, North Carolina, March 26, 2010 – Despite strong economic headwinds, ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has made donations to both the North Carolina Theatre and the North Carolina Symphony. The company has given each organization $25,000 in support of their 2010 seasons.
“Our North America headquarters are in Cary,” explains Enrique Santacana, head of ABB’s North America operations. “We wanted to do something to give back to the community that has given us over 500 employees in the Triangle and more than 800 state-wide. Supporting the area’s growing arts scene is a great way to do that.”
The company is the presenting sponsor of NCT’s production of Cinderella April 10-18. For the North Carolina Symphony, ABB is supporting Classical Series concerts in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, and plans to hold an employee night at Koka Booth Amphitheater for the Symphony’s Tenth Anniversary concert on June 19.
