ADDITIONAL TICKETS JUST RELEASED FOR CLAY AIKEN’S SPECIAL ONE NIGHT ONLY CONCERT ON MARCH 12 IN RALEIGH! THE SINGER WILL HIT THE STAGE WITH SPECIAL GUESTS FOR THE FIRST EVER LIVE PERFORMANCE OF HIS UPCOMING ALBUM, “TRIED AND TRUE”
A limited number of tickets will be released for Clay Aiken’s highly sought after, one night only concert event.
Aiken originally sold out the Memorial Auditorium in his hometown, Raleigh, NC after being on-sale to the public for just minutes. The special event, which is being recorded for television, requires certain set ups for camera blocking and staging, inherently obstructing the view of a small amount of seats. Due to popular demand, the singer and his production team worked to reconfigure the stage set up in order to release a limited number of seats that were being held for the TV production. Tickets will go on-sale at Noon EST on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 available at www.ticketmaster.com.
The singer put limited tickets on sale for fan club members on Tuesday, February 16th. Tickets were then made available for the general public at noon on Friday, February 19th. Fans flooded the online ticket sites and phone lines for the opportunity to be the first to hear Aiken’s new music selling out the singer’s special one night only show in mere minutes.
Aiken is promising fans an exciting 2010 with this special one night performance being just the beginning. The performer extraordinaire is gearing up for the release of his new album, “Tried and True.” The special concert, which will be taped for television, is the world premiere live performance of his forthcoming album being released on Decca this Spring.
“I sincerely thank my fans for their support. Selling out the Memorial Auditorium in minutes is so mind blowing to me, and now luckily I can get some more fans into the audience with these extra tickets” said the singer. “I can’t wait to share the new music with everyone and I promise to make it a one of a kind, extra special show.”
