GOD’s COUNTRY by Steven Dietz | June 24 – July 1

The Raleigh Ensemble Players Theatre Company closes its 2009/2010 Season with Steven Dietz’s riveting docu-drama GOD’S COUNTRY.  Based upon actual court transcripts, Dietz’s highly theatrical play details the growth of the white supremacist movement in America during the 1980’s while focusing on three narrative spines: the Seattle trial of a paramilitary group called The Order; the assassination of Denver radio personality Alan Berg; and the passionate ideals and actions of The Order’s founder Robert J. Mathews.

GOD’S COUNTRY will be performed at the Cary Academy Fine and Performing Arts Center (1500 N. Harrison Avenue) and features the following 09/10 REP Ensemble members: Hillary Aarons, Leo Brody, Sean A. Brosnahan, Jessica Jalal Phelps, Brenda Lo, Chris Milner, Eric Morales, Thomas Porter, L.A. Rogers, Staci Sabarsky, Shawn Smith, and Shawn Stoner.

Bob's creative has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, Packaging Design Council, Magazine Design, NY Art Directors Club. In addition, Bob has been published in Graphic Design USA, American Design, and the Creativity Annual. In 2008, Bob was honored to Judge the International Association of Visual Artists "Davey Awards" for interactive and web design. Bob's passion for the arts has led him to utilize his talent and experience in support of the arts here in the Triangle by creating Triangle Arts and Entertainment.
