About The Producers

Presented by Capital Bank, The Producers kicks off NC Theatre’s 2011 blockbuster Broadway season which also includes Hello, Dolly! (May 7-15), Hairspray (July 23-31) and Evita (October 22-30). The Producers is outrageous, hilarious and the winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards. Mel Brooks’ stage production is one of the biggest hits to ever land on Broadway, and is a ridiculous spectacle that follows two would-be producers as they attempt to make a fortune by producing a sure-fire bomb. The audience will laugh along with Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they sing and dance their way through the greatest showbiz scam there ever was.
