caryvisualart_logoSculpture artists from across the nation are invited to participate in the 2013 Cary Visual Art Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition, August 9, 2013 – June 20, 2014. Organized and presented by Cary Visual Art with the support of the Town of Cary, this exhibition offers established and emerging artists the opportunity to display their sculptures throughout the heart of beautiful downtown Cary, North Carolina.

Juror: Cheryl Stewart, Public Art Consultant from Greensboro, NC

Up to 12 sculptures selected for prizes: totaling $12,000

Best in Show: $3,000

Call to Artists: Local

Artists from Wake County, NC are invited to apply to have their artwork displayed in The Reflections Gallery at WakeMed Cary Hospital. The Reflection Gallery is made possible through a partnership with Cary Visual Art and WakeMed Cary Hospital, and a donation by the family and friends of the late Sandy Lappin. The gallery is located along the main corridor in WakeMed Cary. Artwork will be on display and rotate quarterly, in three month increments, four times a year.

What about Bob Bob has over thirty years experience as Creative Director at notable advertising and marketing agencies in Manhattan and Raleigh Bob's creative has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, Packaging Design Council, Magazine Design, Art Directors Club. In addition, Bob has been published in Graphic Design USA, American Graphic Design, and the Creativity Annual. In 2008, Bob was honored to Judge the Davey Awards for interactive and web design. Bob's passion for the arts has led him to utilize his talent and experience in support of the arts here in the Triangle by creating Triangle Arts and Entertainment.
