Chuck Galle, director, actor, author, who has worked in Raleigh back in the 80s is forming a guerilla theatre troupe to perform short, potent, traveling plays, unannounced, in outdoor areas and inside shopping malls etc., for the purpose of heightening awareness of the growing criminal problem of trafficking of humans.
Looking for experienced (as well as inexperienced) and daring actors to portray roles such as traffickers (we don’t like the word “pimps”), vulnerable young people of both genders, and to be “audience shills”, as well as playwrights, various technical folks and almost anyone else interested in contributing to this important cause.
If you can bring some knowledge of this problem with you it would help, but NCPATH has a great deal of expertise and educational material.
If you think you might be interested in this project check out the info on this website – http://notmylife.org/ On our first get together we will all watch this film.
