[Raleigh, NC]–Dude Solutions, Inc., a leading cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of facility management solutions to several industries under the SchoolDude and FacilityDude brands, announced it will make a donation of $5,000 to the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County.
“Our mission is to dedicate 1% of our time, talent, and treasure to enable action to improve our community. It is one of the core values in our culture to empower employees to support volunteerism and projects which help improve people’s lives – and to give personally,” said Kent Hudson, CEO of Dude Solutions, Inc.
This donation brings the United Arts Council closer to its goal of raising $32,800 to match a technology grant awarded to them. This money will go toward a brand new website design, as well as new computer hardware and software.
“We are very excited about our new partnership with Dude Solutions,” said United Arts President and CEO, Eleanor Oakley. “Not only are we grateful for their generous donation toward our new website through their GoodDude Program, but we also look forward to working with them on future technology matters.”
The Good Dude program is a team of employees from Dude Solutions, Inc. that strives to enrich the lives of children locally by partnering with organizations like the United Arts Council.
The United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, based in Raleigh, NC, was incorporated in 1990. Our mission is to build better communities through the support and advocacy of the arts. For the 2013/14 school year United Arts brought teaching artists in to 130 schools in Wake County through its “Artists in the Schools” program. The United Arts Council also offers grants to organizations, communities and individual artists and provides services to the community such as advocacy, resource development, professional/leadership development and special projects. The grants, programs and services of United Arts reach over 1.2 million people annually in Wake County.
