Michael Buble’

Michael Buble’

@ PNC Arena October 26, 2021

This show has been postponed at least twice for Corona protocols but finally Michael made it to the PNC.  A Saturday night on a Tuesday as he called it.

The stage was a nice setup with Michael’s 30+ member big band orchestra in the background. A long stage cutting up the middle of the floor. Making every floor seat within ten rows.

Micheal is a little bit of a comedian throughout his show. Jokes about standing under Stanley Cup banners in the home of the NC Hurricanes. Praising the “Sexy Man” at the end of the stage wearing a Olympic Canadian Hockey jersey. How he does not put on a hug production show because he needs to pay for his wife’s Amazon purchases.

Michael shows his sensitive side speaking of his son who was diagnosed with liver cancer at the age of 3 (now 8) before preforming “Forever Now.”. Telling us a story of his grandfather who passed just before the pandemic. Dedicating songs to all the first responders and heroes of said pandemic.

Buble’ developed a way to sing a song with an audience member like in past shows that is Rona safe. He mounted a microphone to the end of a hockey stick.

I have to say the wait was worth it and Michael is a true entertainer. His jokes, stories, dance moves and of course, his sexy vocals.
