Music Makers with the NC Symphony – Bug Songs

Try out orchestral instruments, meet a musician – Jimmy Gilmore, North Carolina Symphony Senior Advisor and long-time principal clarinet at 12pm, and explore the music of creepy crawlies in lead up to the Symphony’s next Young People’s Concert, Bug Songs, on March 10.
Marbles Kids Museum and the North Carolina Symphony come together to put the magic and creativity of music right into the hands of Triangle-area children. Held at the museum in partnership with North Carolina Symphony musicians and staff members as part of its NCS Kids program, Music Makers is a family-friendly exploration of music and performance.

Science Solvers Guest Star – Bubbleology

Immerse yourself in the fun and science of bubbles with Dr. Ken Lyle and his team of bubbleologists from Duke University’s Chemistry Outreach Program. Make giant bubbles, stir up a cauldron of bubblicious potion and play around with how different bubble frames and solutions create different kinds of bubbles.
