The 31st Annual Hillsborough Hogg Day
The 31st Annual Hillsborough Hogg Day (formerly Hog Day) Friday, May 17 from 6 pm – 10 pm and Saturday, May 18 from 9 am – 6 pm. The event incorporates Hillsborough’s great history and is named after James Hogg, a merchant originally from Scotland who became a leader in patriot activity.
The Uncommon Garden Gala 2013
The Uncommon Garden is a sculptural landscape that defies words and challenges traditional ideas of “the garden.” You will be awed by the sheer magnitude of rock assemblages and water features, thrilled by the dragons and snakes and stunned at the magnificent detail in mosaics, iron works and other surprises on the winding foot paths.

As an artist and writer, Stroud is always looking for a story to tell. Her desire to tell stories is the catalyst that usually inspires her work. She works intuitively with colors, shapes, textures, and gestural drawing to create her paintings.
