PineCone & NC Museum of History are working together to continue the Music of the Carolinas Series in the face of North Carolina’s daunting budgetary concerns. The two organizations have presented this series in partnership for more than a decade.

Listenings Opening Reception – Feb 3
“Listenings” opening reception will take place THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 5-7 P.M. at the Block Gallery (222 W. Hargett St., Raleigh 27601). “Listenings” features printmaking by Christopher Williams, photography by Jimmy Williams, and in the 2nd floor cases, paintings by Heather Gordon. Highly renowned Music Maker artist, bluesman John Dee Holeman will be performing at the opening reception, and there will be a special screening of Block2 video “Reverberation I” by Ali Colleen Neff. The exhibition will be on display Feb. 3 – March 28, 2011.
