“The Man Who Came to Dinner” Sparkles at RLT

A stellar community-theater cast, under the sure-handed guidance of long-time Raleigh Little Theatre artistic director Haskell Fitz-Simons, will delight RLT audiences with their effervescent version of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s classic 1939 screwball comedy, “The Man Who Came to Dinner.”

“The Man Who Came to Dinner” Opens at RLT

“I knew the [1942] movie from back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth,” quips RLT artistic director Haskell Fitz-Simons, who is directing The Man Who Came to Dinner for the first time, “but I guess my first real introduction to the play came when I was an apprentice in a production at the Alley Theatre in Houston back in 1974 or 1975, and played a variety of the ensemble roles.”
