Celebrating Mendelssohn’s 200th birthday with works of chamber music for strings and piano, all written when Mendelssohn was a teenager. In keeping with this youthful theme, students from the Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra will play side-by-side with Mallarmé artists in a movement of the famous Octet as well as perform a movement from the Piano Quartet Op. 1, No. 1.
