Area Artists Open Their Homes and Working Studios to the Public | Sept 12-13 and Sept 19-20

StudioTourLOGO(Sm)The Wake Forest Area Artists’ Studio Tour invites the public into the homes and working studios of thirty professional artists on September 12-13 and September 19-20, 2009. All studios are located within an approximate 7-mile radius of downtown Wake Forest and will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1-5 p.m. on Sundays. This is a great opportunity to get an early start to creative, unique holiday shopping, see the artists in their working environment and learn how a passion for the arts can become a lifetime career.

Our central location, the Powers-Ludas House (112 N. Ave in Wake Forest) will be open as part of Wake Forest’s Art After Hours on Friday, September 11,  6 – 9 p.m. The public is invited to come view samples of each artists’ work and plan their routes for the weekend.

The Wake Forest Area Artists’ Studio Tour began in 1995 and has grown every year since.
