The Grow And Share Music Festival 2010 starts at 10:30am on Sunday, Septemper 5th. Entry and parking are free. There will be live music, hot and icy foods, a Silent Auction, farm education stations, play areas, faceand hand painting, a local baseball celebrity, and much more. Festivitiesrun until 5:00pm. The festival location is Main Street Park, 200 S. MainStreet, Rolesville, NC.

The Grow And Share Music Festival is the annual fundraiser for Grow And Share. Grow And Share is a NC-based nonprofit that helps communities fight hunger through gardening, food education and community building. Communityis where Grow And Share is fighting hunger, and educating on how eachcommunity can care for itself from within through plentiful, healthy foodgrowth. A music festival is the ideal choice for the annual fundraiser because it is community-oriented, reaching local folks through fun andexcitement. To raise funds for educational activities and community healthyeating programs, the Grow And Share Music Festival blends a day of community, live music, educational booths, and entertainment with fundraising through food sales and the Silent Auction.
David Bell, Manager of the Carolina Mudcats, will be on hand during theevent to sign autographs and talk with fans. He, his family, and Mudcats Radio.com have been great supporters of Grow And Share during 2010.
Bands and musicians have donated their time to the cause. Each group generously agreed to play at the festival as their contribution to Grow And Share’s fight against hunger. This year’s bands include Mister Felix, Sunmile, and Jo Gore And The Alternative. Kicking off the festival is Rolesville’s own d-Sass.
