Celebrate our nation’s birthday in spectacular style at Booth Amphitheatre for Cary’s biggest Independence Day celebration ever. Come early and enjoy the beautiful setting and patriotic performances with the Cary Town Band and the North Carolina Symphony in what promises to make guests proud to be an American.

There will be plenty of family-friendly activities all day long including magicians, face painters, balloon artists and more! Kids young and old will enjoy the graceful sailing boats from the Triangle Model Yacht Club as part of the Indy Model Boat Regatta. The fun starts at 4 p.m. on Symphony Lake. If that’s not enough there will also be an Ice Cream Eating Contest brought to you by Lumpy’s Ice Cream.  Prizes will be awarded! The contest kicks off at 5:30 pm at the upper concessions area. Music from the main stage will begin at 5:45 pm with the Cary Town Band followed by the North Carolina Symphony at 7:30 pm. Just down the street from the amphitheatre Lifetime Fitness will host a Kid’s Zone (free of charge) complete with inflatables, a gaming truck and much more in their parking lot from 3-7 p.m. To make it easy for families to make their way to this off-site event free shuttles will run from the amphitheatre to Lifetime Fitness all day long!

Booth Amphitheatre is again offering four-seat tables for purchase. The price is $140 per table (patrons must purchase the whole table) and includes 1 Preferred Parking Pass, Lumpy’s Ice cream and a Star Spangled Swirl Bread from Great Harvest Bread Company.

Patriotic performances and music combined with family-friendly activities in an atmosphere that is second to none makes the 4th of July Celebration at Booth Amphitheatre the premiere event in the Triangle. As the last note fades, Booth Amphitheatre will cap off the celebration with the Triangle’s largest and most exciting fireworks display. Tarps, blankets & chairs allowed within venue gates; staking and tents are not permitted. This fabulous celebration is FREE and open to the public. Gates open at 3 p.m.

Booth Amphitheatre 4th of July Schedule:

  • Sixth annual Indy Model Boat Regatta – 4:00 pm; Symphony Lake by the Main Stage
  • Ice Cream Eating Contest; 5:30 pm; Patio beside upper concessions area
  • Cary Town Band – 5:45 pm; Main Stage
  • North Carolina Symphony – 7:30 pm Main Stage
  • Fireworks Display – approximately 9:30 pm

Don’t wait until July 4th to begin celebrating because The Town Of Cary is starting early! The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. on July 3rd with an Independence Eve Celebration at Seretoma Amphitheatre at Bond Park. The concert will feature Applause! Youth Theatre and the Cary Town Band. Before heading out to Booth Amphitheatre on July 4th  join your neighbors for an Independence Day Olde Time Celebration from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the waterfront at Bond Park. There will be a fishing tournament, games, competitions and the annual “Parade in the Park”.
