Downtown Raleigh Museum Provides Ideal Outlet For Creativity
RALEIGH, N.C. – The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market, has announced that exhibitor Debbie Marie Arambula will be part of an event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. “The Heart Artist,” as she is widely known, will guide and inspire participants to create pieces of art that will become part of a nationwide art collage.
The event is free and open to the public and no art experience is necessary, though children must be accompanied by an adult. It is part of the museum’s Artrageous programming, which invites artists in all specialties to connect with audiences and inspire them through the creative arts. Arambula’s appearance is part of her Spread the Love campaign, which inspires creativity, kindness and compassion by empowering kids through art.
“I am excited to connect with kids and their parents at Marbles Kids Museum, which is the perfect venue to be inspired through art,” Arambula said. “Through this event, we hope to create beautiful works of art that can help further the idea of spreading love around the world.”
Arambula, a California-based award-winning contemporary master artist and humanitarian, is one of the many international art exhibitors who will be featured in the 2013 World of Art Showcase, which will be held Friday Nov. 1, through Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 S. Salisbury St. downtown.

ABOUT WORLD OF ART SHOWCASE:
The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), sponsored by Jerry’s Artarama, is an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market. The inception of WOAS arose from a desire to redefine the role art plays in our society – to get back to the grassroots of what art stands for and to revolutionize the way the art market functions. Aligning its vision with that of the Raleigh Arts Commission in transforming the City of Oaks into the Creative Capital of the South, WOAS will host its inaugural event at the Raleigh Convention Center the first weekend in November. Audience members will have an opportunity to attend receptions, artist lectures, panel discussions, live art demonstrations and more.
