Artspace, a non-profit visual art center in downtown Raleigh, seeks a Development Intern for spring 2014. Applications are due December 5, 2013.
The Development Internship is designed to help undergraduate or graduate students develop skills in non-profit arts management. Duties may include: assisting with planning of Artspace’s spring fundraiser event, assisting the Development Assistant with coordination and planning of First Friday Art Walks and events, assisting with various administrative tasks, and photographing events. The applicant must be able to manage many different projects simultaneously and have excellent communication skills.
Interns are expected to work a minimum of 5-8 hours per week. Schedule is flexible. Internship is unpaid, and arrangement for school credit is encouraged. All applications are due December 5, 2013.
