Twin City Stage has elected the following new board members for a three-year term: Cecile Merit Boynton, Marla Carpenter, Sigrid Hall, Edwin Martinat, and Philip Powell. The slate of officers includes Don Pocock as president, Michelle Welborn as vice president, Elizabeth J. Rief as secretary, and Larry Herzberg as treasurer.
Continuing members are: Anita Bain, Andrew Dreyfuss, Christine Gorelick, Toni Grace, Chris Leon, Kevin Owen, Joe Partin, David Ratcliffe, Dillon Robertson, Aaron Singleton, Vicki Telford, Barbara Thornton, Gregg Vogelsmeier, and Doug Wenner.
Twin City Stage is the oldest performing arts organization in Winston-Salem, and presents award-winning, affordable, professional-quality productions in one of the largest venues in the Triad. Founded in 1935 as The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem, Twin City Stage’s 81st Season opens in September 2015 with a production of Is He Dead?, a play by Mark Twain and adapted by David Ives. Twin City Stage merged with The Children’s Theatre of Winston-Salem in 2011 and provides acting classes, summer camps, and professional quality productions for children of all ages.
