SHORT STORY CONTEST to coincide with the performances and discussions during “Tuesdays with Morrie”

Short Story contest for students

You’re Never Too Old… or Too Young… To Change Your Life.

Writers 17-21 years old are invited to submit a creative non-fiction piece about living differently when confronted with death or the death of a loved one.  750 to 1,500 words.

1st place: $100 Prize. 2nd place: $50.

All entries will be published in an anthology. 1st Place winner will read their essay February 6th at the “Living Differently” pre-show discussion during “Tuesdays with Morrie”.

Judges for the competition are  Sheila Smith McKoy, Arthur Powers, and Jason Miller.

Submit up to three pieces of no more than 1,500 words via Submittable.

Contest submission deadline:

January 21, 2016. No entry fee.
