The North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) is pleased to announce the first confirmed concerts in its 2016 summer outdoor concert series.
On Sunday, April 13, Lebanese musicians Naji Hilal and Christopher Saleh combine their considerable musical talents in a unique program highlighting Lebanese culture in North Carolina. This concert coincides with the NC Museum of History’s ongoing exhibit Cedars in the Pines, which showcases the history and contributions of Lebanese immigrants who have made North Carolina their home since the 1880s.
Booth Amphitheatre…entertainment, naturally!
PineCone & NC Museum of History are working together to continue the Music of the Carolinas Series in the face of North Carolina’s daunting budgetary concerns. The two organizations have presented this series in partnership for more than a decade.
The music of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash is a cornerstone of rock ‘n roll. As Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN), this trio of legendary singer-songwriters has been actively collaborating since 1969, when they first harmonized in either Joni Mitchell’s living room or Mama Cass Elliot’s dining room, depending on which member you ask (Crosby and Nash ascribe to the former, Stills is adamant about the latter).
