“The Leader” Is a Provocative Program of One-Act Plays by Eugene Ionesco and Other Playwrights

Just in time for the nationwide General Election on Nov. 6th, Bare Theatre of Raleigh, NC is presenting “The Leader,” a program of one-act plays about politics, including “The Leader” by Romanian and French playwright provocateur Eugene Ionesco (1909-94), on Oct. 25-28 at Common Ground Theatre in Durham and on Nov. 3, 4, and 8-11 at the Visual Art Exchange in Raleigh.

City of Raleigh Seeking Artists for Art on City Plaza 2011

The City of Raleigh Arts Commission, in partnership with Artspace and Visual Art Exchange, is inviting artists and artist-teams from North Carolina, Washington D.C., and nine other states to submit work for its third annual temporary sculpture exhibition on City Plaza in Downtown Raleigh. The other states are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Sharing “Other People” with other people:

Other People is a bizarre, surreal narrative video series produced by Thompson, Peery and Brewer, but their work also extends into music, new media, illustration, live performance and installation.
